IK Fan Nozzle ALK for Alkaline Sprayers
The IK Fan Nozzle ALK produces a wide and even liquid spray for compatible alkaline cleaning products. Its alkali-resistant construction makes it suitable for demanding automotive, workshop and professional cleaning applications.
This M18 nozzle can also replace the foam adapter on an IK FOAM Pro 2 Alk. Therefore, it lets you change the sprayer from foam output to a standard liquid fan spray without purchasing another complete bottle.
Convert Foam Output to Liquid Spray
The standard IK FOAM Pro 2 Alk creates thick foam by mixing air with a suitable foaming product. However, fitting this fan nozzle removes the foam-generating effect and applies the chemical as a liquid spray.
As a result, the same bottle can support both foaming and non-foaming alkaline applications. Simply change the nozzle assembly to suit the cleaning product and task.
Please note that this conversion changes the spray output only. It does not change the chemical resistance of the sprayer. The bottle remains suitable for compatible alkaline products and does not become a general acid-resistant MULTI sprayer.
Compatible IK Sprayers
- IK FOAM Pro 2 Alk
- IK ALK Pro 2
- IK ALK 1.5
Always confirm the sprayer model and chemical compatibility before installation. Similar IK nozzles may use different seals and materials for acids, solvents or alkaline products.
Wide Fan Spray Pattern
The fan-shaped spray covers a wider area than a conical or narrow jet nozzle. Therefore, it suits tasks that need even surface coverage.
For example, users can apply compatible alkaline products to:
- Vehicle wheels and tyres
- Wheel arches and lower vehicle panels
- Engine areas and workshop equipment
- Large cleaning surfaces
- Commercial floors and work areas
- Professional sanitation applications
When Should You Replace the Nozzle?
Replace the nozzle if the spray becomes uneven, weak or difficult to control. First, check for dried chemical or dirt. Cleaning may restore normal performance when the nozzle only has a minor blockage.
However, install a new nozzle if you notice cracks, leaks, chemical damage or a blockage that cleaning cannot remove.
Installation and Care
First, release all pressure and empty the sprayer. Next, remove the existing foam or spray adapter and install the M18 fan nozzle securely. Then, test the spray pattern with water before adding a chemical product.
Finally, rinse the nozzle after use. Regular cleaning helps prevent blockages and supports an even spray pattern.
This listing includes one M18 ALK fan nozzle assembly. The sprayer and conical nozzle are not included.
