Alcohol-Based Surface Preparation Cleaner
Koch-Chemie Sil Silicone Oil & Wax Remover is a water-soluble, alcohol-based solvent designed to remove silicone oils, wax residues, polishing oils and grease from solvent-resistant surfaces. It prepares treated areas thoroughly for further coating, sealing or painting applications.
Before applying ceramic coatings, paint sealants or refinishing products, surfaces must be completely free of oils and contamination. Therefore, this solvent cleaner ensures optimal adhesion and long-lasting performance of subsequent treatments.
Surface Preparation Before Coating
Silicone residues and polishing oils can interfere with bonding processes. Koch-Chemie Sil removes these contaminants effectively while remaining compatible with solvent-resistant materials.
Because it contains no halogenated hydrocarbons, the formula offers strong cleaning performance without unnecessary aggressive components. As a result, it is suitable for professional detailing and refinishing environments.
Areas of Use
Suitable for:
-
Solvent-resistant paints
-
Plastics
-
