Reactive Wheel Cleaner – pH Neutral Rim Cleaning Solution

The Koch-Chemie Reactive Wheel Cleaner is designed for safe and thorough cleaning of alloy wheels. Its acid-free and pH neutral formulation removes brake dust and road contamination without damaging sensitive finishes.

Unlike harsh acidic products, this reactive wheel cleaner works through an active chemical reaction. When it comes into contact with iron particles, the formula turns purple, clearly indicating that it is dissolving embedded metal residues.

Effective Brake Dust Removal

Brake dust can accumulate quickly and bond tightly to wheel surfaces. Therefore, specialised cleaning technology is required to break down these stubborn contaminants.

The formulation contains powerful dirt carriers that disperse and dissolve residues while remaining gentle on painted and coated rims. In addition, gloss additives provide a subtle shine and help reduce future dirt adhesion.

Because of its balanced composition, it is suitable for regular maintenance washing as well as intensive cleaning.

Application Instructions

Firstly, ensure that the rim surface is cool before application. Spray evenly across the entire wheel.

Allow the product to react for 1–3 minutes. The visible colour change confirms that the reactive wheel cleaner is actively removing iron contamination. For heavier build-up, extend the reaction time up to 10 minutes.

If required, agitate gently using a soft brush. Afterwards, rinse thoroughly with a strong water jet.
