Nano Paintwork Sealant – Application Instructions

1. Preparation

• Ambient temperature: Ensure the temperature is between 15–30°C.

• Working environment: Always work indoors, not in open air.

• Paint condition: Apply only on fully set painted surfaces.

  • Do not use on fresh repair paints (require 6–8 weeks hardening).

  • OEM paints (new vehicles) can be sealed directly.

• Ensure good ventilation during application.

2. Product Handling

• Shake the aluminium bottle thoroughly before use.

• Fill the supplied plastic bottle (75ml) – sufficient for a medium-sized vehicle.

• Insufficient product application will reduce sealing quality.

• After use, pour leftover product back into the aluminium bottle, seal tightly, and store upright.

• Shelf life after opening: approx. 1 year.

3. Application Method

Recommended: Mechanical application with orbital sander (no forced orbit, low speed) + black finishing pad (999292).
Alternative: Manual application with white pad (999038), without pressure, working in sections (max. one panel at a time – bonnet, door, wing, etc.).

1. Apply sealant and buff for 2–3 minutes, always adding fresh sealant.

   • Use closely overlapping tracks to ensure saturation interlinking.

   • Avoid clouding or uneven colour intensification.

2. After 2–3 minutes, stop applying fresh sealant. Continue polishing until a continuous, run-free film forms.

3. Wait another 2–3 minutes.

4. Polish the completely dry film by hand with a clean Profi microfibre cloth (999241) until a high gloss is achieved.

4. Hardening Process

• Reaction time: 1–2 hours for chemical- and wear-resistant protection.

• Streaks (excess product) may appear during curing:

  • Remove with a Profi microfibre cloth (999241) after hardening.

  • Or they will disappear after the first wash (earliest after 3 days).

5. Important Notes

• Always use ultrasonically cut Profi microfibre cloths (999241).

  • Poor quality cloths (with fabric softeners, silicone, etc.) can interfere with bonding.

• Use multiple clean cloths to prevent residue transfer.

• Store the aluminium bottle tightly sealed and upright at all times.
