The IK FOAM Pro 2 is a professional pressure sprayer that produces rich, clinging foam. It works well for car washing, pre-washing, wheel cleaning and other detailing jobs that use compatible foaming chemicals.
You can also change the IK FOAM Pro 2 from a foam sprayer into a standard liquid sprayer. Simply replace the internal tube and nozzle parts. The sprayer will then produce a regular liquid spray similar to the IK MULTI Pro 2.
As a result, professional detailers and car-care enthusiasts can use the same bottle for different jobs. The two videos below show how to complete the conversion in both directions.
IK FOAM Pro 2: From Foam Sprayer to Liquid Sprayer
First, release all pressure from the sprayer. Next, remove the foam tube and foam nozzle parts. Then, install the correct tube and white liquid-spray nozzle.
After the conversion, you can use the sprayer with compatible liquid cleaners, detailing products and degreasers. It will produce a regular liquid spray instead of thick foam.
IK FOAM Pro 2: From Liquid Sprayer Back to Foam Sprayer
If you want to produce thick foam again, you can put the original foam parts back into the sprayer. First, remove the liquid-spray tube and white nozzle. Then, install the foam tube and black foam nozzle.

Flexible Spraying for Different Detailing Jobs
With the correct genuine IK replacement parts, you can switch between two useful spray modes:
- Foam mode: Use this mode for snow foam, pre-wash products, wheel cleaners and other compatible foaming chemicals.
- Liquid spray mode: Use this mode for compatible liquid cleaners, degreasers and other car-detailing products.
Important Safety and Cleaning Advice
Always release all pressure before you open the sprayer. Also, rinse the bottle, internal tube, seals and nozzle parts when you change chemicals. This step helps prevent chemicals from mixing inside the bottle.
In addition, read the chemical manufacturer’s instructions before use. Make sure the product suits your sprayer and its seals. Some chemicals may work in liquid spray mode but may not suit foam mode.
